A brand new musical concept from the original creative team of the Broadway musical “Rock of Ages.” Syd Norman’s Pour House takes us back to rock’s glory days of the late 60s, 70s & 80s in a hangout inspired by LA’s Sunset Strip with an interactive, improv-based experience driven by a rollicking cast & house band. Showcasing a wicked sense of humor and a whole lot of heart, get ready to rock ‘n’ wail!

Performances include lead and background vocals with cast & band, hosting of trivia, karaoke and hijinks that set the tone of edgy rock that’s fun for the whole family.

Two Male and Two Female Vocalists. Mid 20’s – Late 30’s, Hip / Authentic Rockers. Strong improv acting skills, comedic timing, able to work off loose script & audience interaction, hosting skills (live & tv) for events with guests both in venue and around ship. Knowledge of old-school hip-hop/rap a very strong plus; must be able to incorporate a few rap lyrics into mashups/medleys. Outstanding Rock belt, for lead, background vocals and harmonies

Male Vocal range: Rock belt up to C5 (8ve above middle C) Higher a plus. Female Vocal range: Rock belt up to F5 (11th above middle C) Good low notes down to F3 needed for one female. Percussion (tambourine, maracas, etc) a plus, but not necessary.

One performer, male or female, must be able to play acoustic & electric guitar at a proficient (lead) level.


6 days on, 1 day off per week, up to 4 hours per performance in venue, plus filming of advertising and events both live and prerecorded. Performances include singing leads, duets & harmonies (parts assigned) plus improv & comedic bits and hosting of events such as trivia, movies, karaoke, etc. as well as interactive audience-driven segments in the venue and around the ship.
